Leo en el blog de Fernando Vicente que Queru junto con algunos amigos se ha animado a lanzar el blog Trucolinux.com donde irán publicando trucos para sistemas GNU/Linux.

Por el momento hay pocas entradas, pero promete ser interesante, ya que no se andan con rodeos y proporcionan instrucciones de “copiar/pegar” para la consola que seguro que nos vendrán bien a los que estamos todavía en la transición hacia el mundo Linux.

Si se pueden pedir deseos… no estaría mal un especial de “medidas de seguridad imprescindibles para servidores web” :)

It seems that a Gmail vulnerability (or javascript malicious code at least) has caused the domain tonterias.com to be stolen by someone.

Authentic owner of the domain tonterias.com, Pere Tufet, recently reported it in his blog (spanish language).

The story began when Pere Tufet (the legitimate owner of the domain), was browsing the web and in some point he gets infected by malicious code while having the Gmail account opened. That code creates a filter in his Gmail account that the “hacker” uses to silently take control over the domain registration and then transfered from GoDaddy (the registrar used by the Pere) to Register (another well known domains registration site) and changed all domain fields in the whois to put the “hacker” information, giving total control over the domain.

Obviously, this all takes Pere into an ugly nightmare because not only loosing the ownership of a domain that belongs to Pere since years, but loosing every second a lot of visitors to his site, a very good resource to watch videos, pics, jokes, and other humor related stuff.

But not all are bad news in this story… fortunately, Pere’s reaction was fast and at this moment he managed to block the “hacker” account on Register and changed the DNS to get the domain pointing to the correct server.

A continuación podéis ver la ponencia “Experiencia de usuario con navegadores textuales” a cargo de Samuel Gimeno en el tercer aniversario de Cadius Zaragoza.

Hubo una segunda ponencia titulada “Experiencia de usuario en un entorno laboral. Cómo poner en marcha la maquinaria” a cargo de Isabel Casanova, que desafortunadamente no pude grabar entera porque la primera ponencia se alargó muchísimo más de lo previsto (eran 20 minutos cada una, pero la primera duró más de 1 hora…) lo que hizo que me quedara totalmente sin batería a mitad de la ponencia de Isabel, no obstante, con la cantidad de apuntes confidenciales que nos hizo… tampoco la hubiera podido publicar tal cual.
